ACE Power Electronics has successfully completed the supply and technical installation of Riello UPS uninterruptible power supply systems at ION’s new wafer production plant in Arta, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted operation of the production process. More specifically, as part of the project, ACE Power Electronics installed UPS systems with a total capacity of 220 kVA, delivering high performance, increased reliability and maximum availability even under demanding industrial operating conditions. The equipment incorporates On Line double-conversion technology, energy efficiency of up to 96.5%, high overload capability, zero impact on the grid, advanced communication capabilities and easy monitoring through modern displays and status indicators. As Dimitris Vlachos, General Manager of ACE, stated: “The completion of this project at ION’s new factory highlights ACE Power Electronics’ expertise and reliability in critical industrial installations. ACE Power Electronics has successfully completed the supply and installation of a Riello Sentryum Active 20 kVA uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system at ATHINAION Cinemas, strengthening the reliability and availability of the facilities’ critical electrical and technological infrastructure. In a modern cinema environment, the continuous operation of projection systems, network infrastructure, automation systems and other supporting applications is a fundamental requirement for uninterrupted customer service and the smooth running of screenings. Protection against interruptions or fluctuations in the electrical power supply is critical to ensuring the operational continuity of the facilities. The installed solution is based on the Riello Sentryum Active 20 kVA (S3T 20 ACT), an advanced online double-conversion UPS designed for applications requiring high power quality, maximum reliability and increased energy efficiency. The system ensures stable and uninterrupted power supply, protecting sensitive equipment from outages, voltage sags and electrical disturbances. ACE Power Electronics was responsible for the supply, technical installation support and commissioning of the system, ensuring its smooth integration into the cinemas’ existing infrastructure. ACE Power Electronics received an award at the 2nd ESG Summit organised by ICAP CRIF, one of the significant events focusing on sustainable development and the integration of ESG principles into corporate strategy. More specifically, the award follows the company’s recent achievement of receiving an “A – High” ESG rating from ICAP CRIF under the Synesgy methodology. The assessment confirms the company’s consistent commitment to Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) principles and reflects its overall strategy for sustainable growth, transparency and responsible operations, as well as its continuous investment in policies and systems that strengthen corporate governance and long-term value. ACE POWER ELECTRONICS has successfully installed advanced uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems at new SKLAVENITIS stores, strengthening the energy reliability and operational continuity of the facilities. More specifically, a SENTRYUM S3T10CPT UPS system was installed at the company’s store in Ioannina, designed to ensure stable and uninterrupted power supply while meeting the increased requirements of a modern retail environment. At the same time, a SENTRYUM S3T15CPT system was installed at the store in Ilion, delivering high performance and reliability with the aim of protecting electronic equipment and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of daily activities. The SENTRYUM systems from the Italian international manufacturer RIELLO UPS are modern On Line UPS solutions specifically designed for critical applications, providing high energy efficiency, flexibility and continuous protection against power fluctuations or interruptions. As Dimitris Vlachos, General Manager of ACE, stated: “The implementation of these projects for SKLAVENITIS confirms our commitment to providing reliable and efficient energy solutions for modern retail infrastructure. ACE Power Electronics has successfully completed the installation of two SENTRYUM S3T15 XTD uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, equipped with a transformer and Dual Input capability, at the facilities of MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) Corinth Refineries S.A. in Agioi Theodoroi. The solution was designed to protect critical substations and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the facilities, even in the event of power outages or voltage fluctuations. The system meets the demanding requirements of the industrial environment, providing reliability, stability and high energy efficiency. The SENTRYUM S3T15 XTD is a modern online UPS rated at 15 kVA / 15 kW, designed for critical infrastructure and industrial applications. Its high energy efficiency and Dual Input capability ensure stable power supply and protection of sensitive equipment, enhancing the refinery’s business continuity and energy reliability. As Dimitris Vlachos, General Manager of ACE, stated: “With the completion of this project, uninterrupted operation and protection of critical refinery substations are ensured, providing stable and reliable power even under extreme conditions. ACE, as part of its partnership with DESFA (Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator), has completed the installation of Sentinel Tower UPS units from the Italian manufacturer RIELLO UPS at key points of Greece’s national gas network. The installations were carried out in Examilia, Corinth, Achladokampos, Argolis, and Schistou Avenue in Perama. Featuring specialised design and advanced technology, the Sentinel Tower incorporates state-of-the-art components, providing maximum load protection and optimum energy savings while fully meeting the demanding requirements of critical infrastructure. The range includes 5–6 kVA models with single-phase input/single-phase output, as well as 8–10 kVA models with single-phase or three-phase input and single-phase output. All models feature double-conversion ON LINE (VFI) technology, ensuring that the load is continuously supplied by the inverter with sinusoidal, filtered and fully stabilised voltage. Input and output filters provide additional protection against grid disturbances and lightning-related phenomena. ACE Power Electronics has successfully completed the upgrade of the UPS systems of the Cooperative Bank of Chania, ensuring uninterrupted electrical power for the critical loads of its data centers and wider banking infrastructure. The installation includes modular systems from the Italian manufacturer Riello UPS, fully scalable and designed to meet both the current and future requirements of the financial institution. The partnership between ACE and the Cooperative Bank of Chania is long-standing and founded on trust, reliability and effectiveness, now spanning 17 consecutive years. More specifically, the MULTI POWER UPS (MPW and MPX) is a three-phase uninterruptible power supply system offering rated power from 15 to 1176 kW, outstanding efficiency of up to 96.6% and high power density in a compact footprint. It is specifically designed to protect mission-critical loads and, more broadly, any critical computing and IT environment characterised by high power density.
